I use a couple of hosts, one of which is Hostgator, and in four years with them I’ve never had any problems! You can host with them from about 4.95US from memory.

Not sure if you’d want a .co.uk domain or just a .com

I use Godaddy for .com, while PlanetDomain.com is great for other extensions as well.

Thanks a lot for your response Allan – it was very helpful, although with Wordpress things seem to be the long way around!

I must admit, I am quite new to the blogging arena and don’t really have the time to play around with new and exciting gadgets etc. I have no idea what the benefits are of wordpress.org as opposed to what I’m using other than the obvious domain name. What would you recommend for hosting?

I haven’t had any experience with putting Stumbleupon buttons on Wordpress.com sites, but I have done a quick search of the WP forums and come up with this!

By the way, I checked your blog out and enjoyed the read.

Why not consider putting it on a wordpress.org site? Of course you need a domain name and hosting, but it’s not that hard – if I can do it, you surely can too!

I'd like to put a stumbleupon button in all the posts of my blog much like how it's described here. However, in my wordpress blog, I cannot find the single.php file to add the SU button code in. I only have CSS access to my theme stylesheet...does anybody know where to find this file? Sals last blog post..Does he take Sugar?
