Stayin’ Alive, Footloose And Fancy Free
Perpetuum Jazzile is a Slovenian choir that performs arrangements of popular songs, often A Capella (without backing music).
From Wikipedia: Founded as the Gaudeamus Chamber Choir in 1983 by Marko Tiran, Perpetuum Jazzile has been directed since 2001 by Tomaž Kozlevcar, the renowned music producer, arranger and vocalist.
July 9th, 2009 was a funny sort of a day, one of those mixed ones if you know what I mean.
It had started out with an anonymous user on Stumbleupon voting down one of my sites and calling me “a millennial attention seeker”, and (gasp, shock) an internet marketer!
Sore and wounded, I found solace with my friends on Plurk, where Bruce shared music from a group called Perpetuum Jazzile, who performed the old Toto song, Africa!
Needless to say, I was hooked, and I have been since!

I actually sat down to do some work tonight, and meant to just listen to the choir’s music on YouTube.
Needless to say, I haven’t got a lot done, apart from getting a buzz and deciding to write about the music as well as listen to it.
What I like about the group is that they seem to be able to cover anything, and they bring a special energy to their performance.
