Family ties are indeed important.

Talking with friends this morning, the topic came up regarding how much family carers save the community by their care of loved ones.

I agree with you about input into our own families. Imposing standards on others would indeed be counter productive.

		<description>Allan, so sorry to hear about your friend Barry. Family ties are important and agree that strong ones are helpful. It&#039;s hard to impose that on others and it&#039;s probably not even our place to do so if they have different priorities.

 Working on our own families and showing the best examples we can for them helps some and being there for support for friends who need it is  usually appreciated. I&#039;m sure Barry and Jeanne appreciate you being there and probably consider you like family.
