Dr. Al sounds a lot better than Dr. Phil.

I can imagine that scene Allan. There was a time when my second eldest daughter was selecting a theme for her debut, the third daughter making suggestions the 2nd didn’t like, eldest daughter trying to facilitate and come up with choice events and locations, youngest daughter trying to get a conversation on the phone with the TV on, two sons roughing it up on the floor and bothering the girls, and the other 2 sons making fun of the discussions of the 3 girls.

I ask what time dinner is and what’s in it and all 8 of them scream 8 different restaurants to go to, each one trying to out shout the other. I said ok, let’s go to all 8, thinking this would make them dwell on the matter and agree to only one. To my surprise, they all said my choice first!

With the exception of my youngest daughter who had her debut last week, all seven are working and in good jobs. I somehow miss all the noise and at times the silence is deafening. We all get together on Sundays for a noisy lunch and dinner where everyone talks at the same time.

The scene you described will definitely be part of your fondest memories Allan. –Durano, done!
