		<description>This is perhaps my biggest beef with Facebook, it doesnt "really" facilitate "connection, or networking" per se. Or it isnt really being used that way by and large. But it could certainly be used that way and being that it is a web 2.0 app it should be set up like that</description>

Yes, I did say that. It's one thing to "collect friends" and another to service them.

At one time on Facebook you could do a mass mail to all of your friends at once on the Superwall.  I got one out.  No advertising or anything, just a newsletter to "touch base" with everyone.

Seems Facebook have put a stop to this.

Odd that you can have 5,000 friends on Facebook when you have no means of contacting them all apart from 10 at a time.  That's ridiculous.
