		<description>IM security has come a long way since I first hopped on the net. I recall one of my kids getting into some off-color chats at one point using ICQ, and it was almost trivial to hack, er... trace the other party in the chat. It was a good thing I did, as the "14 year old" turned out to be 34....

		<description>Not just in Germany. There was fuss in the US about VOIP and particularly Skype because they can't be tapped and "criminal activity" could go on over them. With the Usenet stuff that's happening now, I wouldn't be surprised if VOIP is the next thing to demand the attention of politicians who &lt;strike&gt;want to track our every move&lt;/strike&gt; uhh, want to keep us safe from ourselves.</description>
