I have to admit that I am one of THOSE people!
You know the ones, usually male, that don’t need to read the instructions, and rarely need road maps!
Well, that’s the story, but more often than not, I do end up going with the old adage, “when all else fails, read the instructions”.
But I do love to experiment. That’s the way I learn.
For some reason, I tend to remember to do things the right way after I have messed around doing them ‘my way’. That’s probably because it takes a few more goes to get it right.
Experimenting is a great way to learn, and I find solutions that others may not think of.
For instance, I edited the image above in PowerPoint, just because I could.
It’s a great program, and more versatile than I would have imagined a little while back.
And while have used different image editing programs, I do like to play outside the lines sometimes.
And sometimes, playing outside the lines involves mixing the old with the new. The image above was created over a decade ago, and this post has sat in draft mode for almost as long, so I’m breathing new life into it.
Meet Rob, my Robotic offsider. He comes across as slightly quirky at times, but as an assistant, he’s good value. Rob is my AI agent on ChatGPT, which I have been using of late.
You’ll notice how I have used AI to edit the top image of the birds on the sign into another image, featuring Rob. He’s somehow picked up my coffee drinking habit, making his quirky, almost autistic persona go into hyper drive.
Ai is a great tool, but would be a cruel master, in my opinion. Always think for yourself, check all the results of tasks that you give the program that you use before publishing, and have fun.
