How Can I Create Videos That Don’t Look The Same As Everyone Else’s

I’ve told people for years that I believe that we are all created in the image of the Creator.

To me, that means that we all have some degree of creative ability! We just have to use it.

The main problem with us as humans is that we often see something that works, and then copy it, so that there tends to be a “sameness” about everything.

Over the past few years there have been several video creators released that enable users to create what ever their imagination and ability can combine to produce.

The main thing to remember is not to do what everybody else does. You are unique, and your content should be too!

Start with a great video background!

Depending on what your video is about, you could try sites such as Pexels.com

I found this beautiful image of a lioness there, which was originally featured on Pixabay!

The lioness

C3POOf course, if science fiction is more your thing, you could check out my friend here on the left. He hails from Pixel Squid.

Pixel Squid is promoted as “The world’s most powerful 3D image library, and you can find a wide range of images there to suit any number of projects.

Did I mention that it is free?

Pexels is as well by the way.

But please, use the images carefully, and according to the license terms.

Someone has worked hard to create this content, and I think that it is pretty special to be able to use these images for free.

Let’s not abuse the privilege!

Of course, you may not need such beautiful images as backgrounds, especially for sketch videos, or cartoon presentations, but they are available.

SVG images are best for these, as the software is able to “draw” them.

A favorite of mine is to use video backgrounds.

You can shoot them yourself, or you can use stock video from sites such as VideoBlocks.com

Of course, if you’re on a strict budget, free is always good!

Pexels also has a library of free video content.

You can find them here!

Again, please check the terms and conditions of any content that you download.

I always make a point of trying not to use images of identifiable people in my presentations. It’s different if you are using images of professional models who have signed an agreement to allow their images to be used, but “free” doesn’t usually cover this!

Finally, one more image. This one is from Unsplash.com

Again, this is a free site, and again, please check all terms and conditions!

A big cat!
