Making Videos From Stock Footage
I’ve spent most of the past week writing, and playing with video.
When I say playing, I mean learning new tricks.
Tricks that professionals have been using for years I might add, but I do enjoy learning.
The video below is actually made from three separate videos. One featuring a woman dancing on the television, another showing a woman using a remote to try and control the television (probably trying to change channels so that she didn’t have to watch the dancing), and the third showing the dancer “at the mall”.
I’ve joined a group on Facebook where a lot of very talented people meet, and many of them are into creating videos.
Every time I go there, someone has done something new, and so I have to try and do it as well!
Anyway, all three videos used are from Video Blocks, a stock footage site that charges an annual fee for joining.
You can then use their free downloads, or pay for premium content.
Membership, last time I looked, is just $99.00 per year. Not bad value when you can pay up to $50.00 or more for each clip elsewhere.
I played with the clips in Filmora, but ended up editing them in Camtasia!
Speaking of Facebook, feel free to click on this large economy sized image below to go to my Facebook profile. I’d love to get to know you there! 🙂
And yes, I know, it’s ridiculously large, and I have to change it. I have just been playing with a program that converts video to gif, and need to get the sizes right. A fix is coming.
