Feedly Really Rocks
I installed the Feedly plugin for Firefox today, and I have to say that it simply rocks!
With different feed aggregators around, and with more ‘life streaming’ sites than you can poke a stick at, I thought that the market was just about covered!
No more though, because Feedly is so much more than just an RSS reader.
With its fast, interactive magazine-like interface Feedly allows you to:
* Import your favorite RSS feeds and sources from Google Reader, Bloglines, Netvibes and/or your bookmarks.
* Collect and organize RSS feeds into tabs/categories.
* Configure multiple views.
* Filter the most relevant/popular content.
* Search for specific keywords within favorite sources, such as Twitter and Friendfeed.
Apart from being an RSS reader, the progam allows users to share articles on Twitter, Friendfeed, Tumblr, Delicious and Facebook.
Check the videos below for details, the first is a short, breezy introduction, while the second walks you through the program!
A feature of the program is that users are able to switch between it, and Google reader. This means that if you decide that you prefer Google Reader, you are able to switch back without losing any of your settings or content!
Pretty neat, and as far as RSS feeders go, Feedly really does rock!
Microblogging with Twitter is a great way to stay in touch with friends, and follow what they’re up to, and who with! Not to mention the fact that you can let them know what you’re doing too!
What are you doing now?
