Learning New Skills With WordPress
I love WordPress, and have used the platform to build a number of websites over the years, both for myself, and for others.
Over the years I have bought a number of themes to use as well, but these days I seem to gravitate to Genesis from StudioPress, and combine that with the Dynamik web builder from CobaltApps.
I also use Thesis from DIYThemes.
As I have become busier doing other “stuff” though, I tend to “forget” how to do some things, or I find that things are changing so quickly within the WordPress community that it can take a fair bit of keeping up with!
Remembering though that I don’t have to know everything, I usually go out and find someone that knows more than I do.
This weekend that person was Adam from WPCrafter
Adam presents videos on his site and works through a number of topics.
I don’t know Adam, and have no connection with him, but the help I received on the weekend saved me hours of work, and trial and error.
So whether you’re new to WordPress, or, like you’re me and tend to forget stuff because you’re not doing this all the time, I’d recommend Adam’s tutorials to you!
