How Darren Rowse Saved My Sanity
Using Blog Friends on Facebook is handy in more ways then one.
As a matter of fact, after picking up a post on Blog Friends from Darren Rowse, I was able to save my sanity over Christmas.
There are some really special bloggers on Blog Friends that I enjoy catching up with, and Darren Rowse is one of them.
Darren not only writes great stuff, but also presents great posts by others.
On December 9, I bookmarked a post from Darren about posting ahead as I didn’t have time to read it at the time.
I’m usually an ‘inspirational’ type, and can write quickly and easily.
However, when I have a heavy workload, or I am tired, it can be a real chore to sit and write.
After reading Darren’s December 9 post, I started writing extra posts and jotting down ideas.
It’s a good thing that I did as the week before Christmas was more hectic this year, with both work and family commitments.
Although I did write during the holiday break, it was a comfort to know that I had extra material there ready to use when needed.
And I did need it, as along with visits from inlaws, outlaws and friends, I ended up looking after a friend’s farm while he was away!
Practical advice is always helpful, and on this occasion helped save my sanity, as well as my remaining hair!
Darren also included instructions on how to use WordPress to publish posts at a future date.
Simple tips such as these about topics that we often assume everyone knows about are a great help to many bloggers.
Glad the post worked for you! Thanks for the link back.

Thanks Darren, and thanks for the great tips!
Simple things like that that most people assume that everyone knows, or has time to learn, are a great help.
