  1. Unfortunately, the celebrations have to wait for the weekend. I did catch her out though – I planted a rose garden earlier in the year, and the roses started blooming this week, with apricot colored roses – her fave color!

It’s amazing how time gets away – Roy Orbison was one of my all time favorites!

  2. Hi all,
    Hi Allan,
Sorry haven’t been around for a few days, computer trouble, got back online just in time to wish you a belated 21st Happy Anniversary, your marriage seems to have stood the test of time which can only mean one thing, true love, always nice to hear.
I would have been about 24 when Roy died so I still remember him, and his songs are still played from time to time on the radio, my dad was a huge fan of his.
Thanks for the info, and have a great weekend.

  3. G’day Tony,

Thanks for the congrats and comments!

Long term relationships come down to a formula of:
    Love + commitment + respect = success!

Hard times and distractions will come along the way, but if the basics are right, the ship stays afloat during the storms!

That’s what I have found along the way!

Roy Orbison is still one of my favourites, along with Johnny Cash and others!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  5. Thanks Ange!

    16 days…that’s happened quickly!

Must say that the roses were a fluke – I knew that one of the roses was an apricot color, but it turned out that they all are!

    Cheers!

  6. It’s amazing how popular Roy Orbison is still!

The formula: a lot of people go into a relationship and wonder what has happened the first time a drama hits, or the initial original thrill fades.

It’s the commitment and tolerance that sees it through and wins out in the end, – my wife probably deserves a medal for hers!
