Meet The Web Diva For Solo Entrepreneurs
What sort of business are you running here anyway?
When we say “Home Business” we can be talking about a properly organized, well run business that that is every bit as professional as one on Main street.
Or we can be talking about something that is little more than a hobby that is run on an occasional basis, or hardly runs and is not a business at all.
Then again, we could be talking about something that is somewhere in between these, or a combination of both.
I’ve been thinking about this again since stumbling across a post that Maria Reyes-Mcdavis made on Facebook.
Maria is The Web Success Diva and has just written a great post about outsourcing.
We’ve heard a lot about Web 2.0 and the difference that it can make to marketing, but with so many voices out there it’s hard to know where to start.
Fortunately, people like Maria can make things a lot easier, if you let them.
There are so many areas to cover in business that it is really hard for one person to do it all.
Finding ways of getting things done, and still having a life, is a balance that many business owners don’t seem to achieve, and I can tell you from experience, that it is a very disheartening experience.
Running a home business can be a challenging proposition, particularly when there is family and/or outside work involved.
It’s much easier to find and use an outsourcing arrangement, and concentrate on what your are best at, than to be caught up on a constant merry go round of different tasks every day.
Check out Maria’s Blog and Facebook profile. I think that you will find that it’s well worth subscribing!
Networking is something that I really enjoy doing!
I especially like meeting people on Facebook, so why not click on my profile picture to go there and add me as a friend?
You can also find me on Twitter, Digg, Mixx, Stumbleupon, Ma.gnolia, Technorati, Del.icio.us and Blog Catalog.
I’m Ozegold on all of these sites.
You can subscribe to my Friend Feed here!
Hey, guess who popped in to see you!
You’re right about Maria – her blog is a really good read, helpful, insightful and is she talking to me, or is she talking to me?
How does she know i do all that stuff she’s asking me??!
I rather liked the term “solopreneur” too.
I dont know how you find the time to find all this interesting stuff Alan. I now devote one day a week to updating my website and blogs and networking, but i can never seem to get around to find much new stuff, like you do:) Well done!
G’day Bimmy,
Long time no see… great to catch up!
Maria’s great value, and the videos that she’s posted on Facebook are really handy too!
How do I find all this interesting stuff? Well, it’s my job!
It’s tough I know, but someone has to do it! 😉
Have a great weekend!
