Blog at 45n5.com makes some good points about being too serious when blogging.
I wonder though if it is because sometimes life itself gets a bit too serious?
I especially liked the point about an over abundance of lists and competitions on blogs.
This can show a distinct lack of imagination on the part of the blogger, or maybe they have just fallen out of love with their writing?
That’s one reason that I like covering a range of topics and categories here – it gives a variety of things to write about – some fun, some serious.
I’ve included this video by Andy Dooley from Toastmasters, and there is another video on the original post that is well worth a look!
The message for today though is very clear:
Relax, enjoy yourself and don’t take yourself too seriously.
Apart from anything else, it can affect your creativity and writing ability!
