The Agony Of A Confirmed Grammar Nazi

I don’t know about you, but I hate seeing obvious grammatical and spelling errors, especially from people who should know better.

And especially people who are paid to know better!

I hate seeing the error, and knowing that nobody seems to care, or at least care enough to do something about it!

We’re not talking about junior school kid errors – they take a while to iron out.

At the moment I’m helping to coach my 5 year old grandson with his reading and writing, and fully expect errors as he gets his head around this stuff!

And we’re not talking about a writer who is tired and makes a typo, then goes back later to fix it!

No, I’m talking about someone who gets paid to present an image of a business in a good light.

And stuffs up it with one stupid mistake, that is there for all the world to see (or at least the local area).

I see this every day.

I can’t avoid it in fact!

It’s time to go and see the business owner – maybe he could get a new sign out of it?

One thing’s for sure, I wouldn’t be paying for the work until this error is fixed!

Call the Spelling Police, quick!

Can you pick it..?

  1. What need do we have for AutoPro if we are all spare parts, accessories and 4×4 specialists?

Considering how expensive those advertisements are, perhaps you should speak to the business owner.

  2. G’day Les! Exactly right – what need do we have for them in that case? I can understand people making errors, but I think that in this case it is inexcusable!
