I’ve lined up some special people to introduce you to this week, and so…
Please meet Becky McCray, a new friend, and one that I am happy to introduce you to.
One of the measures of a person is what others say about them.
I thought that it was interesting that just after I had said Hi to Becky for the first time on Twitter, that a friend sent me a Tweet.
His tweet simply said ‘Becky McCray is the best…’ and then went on to explain why.
Roxanne Swift is another new friend!
Roxanne is a regular visitor to my blog, and is a great addition to my social network.
She interacts well with those around her, and comes across as being quite down to earth – some thing that I find quite refreshing.
One of the things that I look at when following new people is how they interact. If their timeline is simply full of ads and/or self promotion, I usually don’t bother following them.
I’ve known Laura Pritchardfor a while
I first met her on Plurk, and then Facebook.
Owner of Pritchard Design, Laura specializes in image design for print and web!
As you might expect, Laura is also a keen photographer, and I enjoy checking her work on Flickr.

Jon Bishop is an Internet Marketing and Social Media guy!
Jon is also responsible for ‘CommenTwitter’, a plugin that I use here on my site.
If you care to make a comment, the plugin will tweet it once it has been moderated!
This is especially effective for visitors if they use their Twitter user name!
I follow StumbleUpon!on Twitter?
One of the few ‘non person’ entities that I follow is StumbleUpon.
SU has launched a new url shortening service called Supr.
More than that though, Supr posts to Twitter, and Facebook.
Stats provided include the number of clicks the tweet receives, as well reviews on StumbleUpon.
Check the site out by going to the link above.
Still in public beta, invitations are issued by Tweet!
For something completely different this week, I am also recommending a choir.
Perpetuum Jazzile is a jazz choir from Slovenia.
I was introduced to them on Plurk yesterday, and in the 24 hours since, their YouTube version of Africa by Toto has had well over 100,000 hits.
They are a viral phenonomen. I’ve been particularly taken by their vocal percussionists, as well as the visual spectacle that they provide.
Doing a choral version of ‘Africa’ is nothing new, but I think that I can guarantee that you’ve never seen a performance like this before!
You can follow Perpetuum Jazzile here!
