English Resort Braces Itself As Facebook Party Hits Town
News.com.au reports that an English town is bracing itself for a Facebook invasion!
Police have moved to cancel alcohol sales as The Facebook event “Party at the Beach 2008 – Torbay” invites people to the party in the English seaside town of Torbay on July 4th.
Party goers are being urged to purchase as much alcohol as they can, and police are concerned at the damage that may result.
More than 4000 people have already said they are attending the event, with up to 10,000 people expected to attend.
