Why I Like Plurk More Than Twitter

Plurk: Your life, on the line...I just love Plurk!

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind Twitter either, although just lately it seems to be down more than it’s up, and that’s not a great way to build confidence among users, especially with so many competitors arriving on the scene.

Quite simply, Plurk has taken a winning formula (microblogging in 140 characters or less), added more features and dressed it up!

I believe that Twitter will still do well, but of all the alternatives that have appeared so far, Plurk is a lot more fun.

That’s the keyword here: Fun! Twitter Icon

Plurk is more suited to conversation than the ‘Fail Whale’, and has a more relaxed atmosphere.

People tend to be friendlier, and more likely to respond to comments.

What do you think? Have you tried Plurk yet?

    1. I agree. Plurk spells FUN! People interact on Plurk in a much more direct and continuous manner than on Twitter and you can see all the responses to a comment. This makes it easier to build a community of friends and followers. Now one can't wax too eloquent in 140 characters but then most daily conversation consist of short sentence interactions. (Well I do know some people that can ramble on forever - but not you Allan ;D ) So if you're more into social interaction than internet marketing, then I'd suggest you drop over to Plurk and sign up for some daily fun.

That's it 110% - fun! That is the ingredient that Twitter and others tend to be lacking, and I would call them colorless, and as dry as old chips! Umm, Don, you wouldn't be saying that I ramble, would you? Cheers mate!
